Untitled Document 40TH JUDICIAL CONFERENCE AND APPELLATE SEMINAR The court has scheduled its 40th Judicial Conference and Appellate Seminar for Friday, April 29, 2022. The conference returns to a live format and once again will be held at the Manor House in Mason, Ohio.
Registration materials were mailed last week and registration is now open.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYThe court is currently seeking to hire a full-time staff attorney. The court will consider qualified applicants who are members of the Ohio Bar or who are scheduled to take or have taken the Ohio Bar Examination in 2022. Applicants must be in the top 33% of their law school class and willing to make a two-year commitment to the position.

Staff Attorney Position
Applicants must demonstrate strong analytical, research, writing and communication skills, and demonstrate discretion and sound judgment in support of the work of the court. Technology skills are necessary, such as the ability to use Microsoft Word, perform internet legal research and employ skills needed for teleworking.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently, collaboratively and with self-discipline to meet the needs of the court. Prior appellate clerkship experience is preferred, along with private practice experience in either criminal or civil litigation. The position is a State of Ohio exempt, unclassified position and includes a comprehensive State of Ohio benefits package.
